Raya SDB - Safe Deposit Box
Digital Safe Deposit Box rental management with single-CIF customer verification, aligned with SE OJK No. 32/SEOJK.03/2017 and PPATK Regulation PER-02/102/PPATK/02/15.
Story
SE OJK Number 32/SEOJK.03/2017 on Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing (APU-PPT) in the Banking Sector requires banks to identify and verify prospective customers when opening accounts, issuing credit cards, or renting a Safe Deposit Box (SDB). Under the Management Information System pillar, the single CIF must cover every product and service a customer uses at the bank, including savings, deposits, current accounts, credit, and Safe Deposit Boxes. In addition, PPATK Regulation PER-02/102/PPATK/02/15 classifies Safe Deposit Boxes as a high-risk product that can be used to obscure or hide the existence of assets originating from criminal acts.
Contribution
- · Built the SDB rental flow with mandatory customer identification and verification (e-KYC) before box rental, per SE OJK 32/SEOJK.03/2017.
- · Integrated SDB into the single CIF view so one customer profile covers all products, including savings, deposits, and box rentals.
- · Implemented high-risk product screening and transaction monitoring hooks aligned with PPATK PER-02/102/PPATK/02/15.
Impact
Keeps PT Bank Raya Indonesia compliant with OJK APU-PPT obligations for Safe Deposit Box products while reducing manual verification effort for the operations team.
